The four-day Certificate 2 in Wine + Beverages qualification is intended for industry professionals, hospitality staff, or even keen connoisseurs with a basic knowledge of the broad range of alcoholic beverages who wish to enhance their wines and spirits quotient in a structured manner. For enthusiasts, this is where your love for the beverage deepens, and you move from a drinker to a connoisseur. Extensive study of various wine styles, production methods, labels, regions, countries, appellations, service, and schematic tasting and analysis are the key components of the program.

We expect the attendee to have a prior formal education or experience with the beverages before coming to the program. We highly recommend a one-month prior self-study of the study material for the course. The aim here is to develop a self-sufficiency in selecting, decoding, and communicating a beverage to a guest, followed by its service, tasting, and commenting with a certain level of practised ease, flair and confidence.
