Reveilo – a name that has become synonymous with quality in the Indian wine industry, is a
story of passion and undeterred commitment to quality. The architects of this home-grown
story are Yatin and Kiran Patil – the husband wife duo, who after a corporate stint of six years,
went back to their 100-acre ancestral farm in Nashik (Maharashtra).
The duo consciously chose to take on the wine trail over their corporate careers, to pursue the
entrepreneurial dream, as they smelt potential in this sunrise industry, with the vision to evolve
the family’s agriculture heritage into a brand. Back home, the seeds were sown, and the first
wine varietals were planted in 2000; further went on to form Vintage Wines and create the
Reveilo label, which was launched in 2006.

The Reveilo story

What started off as a boutique estate bottled winery more than a decade and a half ago has
remained so till date. Reveilo, which signifies revealing the mystery, owes a lot to Italian
technology and know-how having tied up with an Italian group for its technical collaboration.
In fact this vision of providing the Indian consumer with something different and an authentic
Italian experience led us to walk the untreaded path of planting the Italian varieties of Grillo,
NDA and Sangiovese.
Reveilo, in its true sense, is estate bottled wherein the grapes come from owned vineyards
belonging to the family thereby ensuring full control. The product range spans across seven
varietals and 12 SKUs. The wines have been consistent in quality across the years and have
maintained a fruit forward style that appeals to all.
Reveilo has won a number of awards and accolades along the journey which just adds as a
testimony to their quality. It is the only winery with FSC 22,000 certification.
