Vallonné Vineyards is India’s first boutique winery that produces premium French-style wines with varietals and blends that are unique in the Indian wine market. Established in 2009, the vineyard promptly won a reputation for quality and innovation with its very first
vintage. The sprawling estate rests on the gentle slopes of the Sahyadri ranges. The scenic location of the vineyard, washed by the tranquil waters of the Mukhne Lake and overlooking the Kavnai peak, makes it an ideal place for vineyard stays and wine tourism.

We launched India’s first and only reserve Malbec, our Rosé is the first in the country to be made of cabernet sauvignon and the Vin De Passerillage is again the only dessert wine in the country made by the straw wine process from Jura. Our property houses a boutique vineyard hotel and a lake-facing restaurant that offers inspired South East Asian Cuisine, paired with our delectable wines.

Vallonné, which means 'undulating landscape' in French, true to its name, stands on a sprawling estate in Igatpuri that rests on the gentle slopes of the Sahyadri ranges in Kavnai village that gradually blend into the clear waters of the Mukhne dam.
At Vallonné, we are guided by an emphasis on cutting-edge quality and optimal viticultural practices. Our South-facing vineyards draw from the unique qualities and flavours of the terroir characterised by gravelly soil, sunny days and cool nights and are irrigated with
clear mountain water.
The winery is designed to be ecologically sensitive with cellars tucked away 20 feet below ground to naturally protect the wines from heat and light. The wines are matured in the cool environs of the barrel room, in oak casks imported from a premier cooperage in France.
The winery has state-of-the-art technology and equipment sourced from market leaders in France. Our equipment and machines come from market leaders such as Bucher Vaslin and Gai and our barrels are the highest quality French oak barrels made by Radoux. Our bottles are
imported from different parts of the world while our natural corks are made in Portugal.
We believe that a good wine is made in the vineyards and therefore put a lot of emphasis on viticultural practices. Our experts control every stage of the vine-to-wine journey. The yield is kept low to ensure a higher concentration of aromas and flavours. The fruit is gently picked and sorted by hand and as the grape makes its way to the tanks, there is minimal human intervention
